Also referred to as the APE/Ps. natalensis hybrid, presents an intriguing mushroom resulting from the crossbreeding of Psilocybe cubensis var. APE (Albino Penis Envy) with Psilocybe natalensis. It is a Mon-Mon cross composed of a P. natalensis monokaryon isolated by Yoshi and a P. cubensis "Kilor APE" monokaryon isolated by Kilor.

Kilor Diamond is a superb amateur mycologist, fungi breeder, and citizen scientist with a passion for microscopy and photography. He is known for his work in documenting and researching various fungi species, often sharing his findings and techniques through platforms.

The creation of the APE/Ps. natalensis hybrid involved the mating of monokaryons (single spore isolates) from both species. This process entails combining genetic material from different strains to generate a novel variety. To achieve successful hybridization, the breeder ("Judge Doom") utilized four distinct P. cubensis varieties and conducted a total of 144 pairings.

APE/Ps. natalensis displays unique attributes attributable to its hybrid lineage, which may deviate from those of its parent species.

Some growers note variations in potency compared to typical P. cubensis strains. Given the propensity for crossbreeding between P. natalensis and P. cubensis, ongoing discussions persist regarding whether P. natalensis should be classified as a "subspecies" of P. cubensis.
